We keep both. Halloween runs to 31 October because that is when the world celebrates. Southern Samhain returns 30 April because that is when the season turns in Australia. Beltane falls on 31 October here, Yule in June, Imbolc in August and Lammas in February. Every sabbat collection lists both dates, and the Southern Hemisphere collection gathers them together.

Most practitioners do, and it takes minutes. Selenite or a smudge bundle works for almost every stone. Avoid water on selenite, halite and any soft or porous stone. Avoid direct sun on amethyst, rose quartz and citrine, which fade. Moonlight is safe for everything.
