Taper Light for Safer Spells

Tapers are the classic altar candle, traditionally used to mark the four quarters or to honour a deity. Many witches choose red for passion and courage and white for clarity.

Why you'll love it

• Nothing to snuff: Leave them glowing near fabric, herbs and paper without worry.
• Classic silhouette: Slim tapers suit candlesticks, mantels and banquet tables.
• Colour choice: Red or white, plain or with a gold or silver base.

Battery Powered Altar Candles

Group several in mismatched holders for a candlelit gothic table, or set a single white taper on your moon altar. These electronic altar candles are light enough to move wherever your celebration goes.
