Australian Native Plant Grimoire, Part 1: Trees, Emblems and the Safe Hand
This is Part 1 of the Australian Native Plant Grimoire, a 23-page field notebook for the tall ones of the bush and the rules that keep a hedge witch welcome there. Meet two wattles, four gums, a paperbark, a tea tree, a bottlebrush and a grevillea, plus the floral emblem of every state and territory, then shed an old layer with the smooth-barked gums. Part 2 turns to the flowers, bush foods and the rest of the practice.
What's inside
Respect and safety: whose knowledge this is, why the bush is not a garden, where to grow and buy plants with a clear conscience, the eating rule, toxic natives and natives that become weeds out of place
Ten tree field notes: golden and Cootamundra wattle, river red gum, Tasmanian blue gum, lemon-scented gum, Sydney red gum, broad-leaved paperbark, lemon-scented tea tree, crimson bottlebrush and grevillea, each with botany, lore, a Sorceress Sanctuary correspondence and a prompt
The floral emblems: all nine, with the year proclaimed and the flowering season
The practice: the shedding bark ritual, bark and leaf rubbings, the old gum tarot spread and a moonlit garden log
Why you'll love it
Written for Australian plants and southern seasons, not a northern herbal
Every botanical and historical fact carefully checked

Questions
Do I need Part 2 as well?
No. Each part stands on its own, with its own contents, safety pages and writing space. Part 2 covers ten flowers of the south, six bush foods you can buy, the native wheel, two rituals, a herbarium craft and a wattleseed damper, and the two pair beautifully if you want the whole set.
Do I need a garden?
No. Most pages work with street trees, botanic gardens and a notebook. Nothing in this grimoire is picked from parks or bushland.
Does it include Aboriginal plant knowledge?
No. That knowledge belongs to its custodians and is not reproduced here. Correspondences are clearly labelled as Sorceress Sanctuary's own modern suggestions.
Digital product. For personal use only, not for resale or redistribution. Rituals are reflective and symbolic, offered as ritual guidance, not a guaranteed outcome.
