Questions
What are the dates of the Wheel of the Year in Australia?
Southern dates are Samhain 30 April to 1 May, Yule at the June solstice, Imbolc 1 August, Ostara at the September equinox, Beltane 31 October to 1 November, Litha at the December solstice, Lughnasadh 1 February and Mabon at the March equinox.
Why is the Wheel of the Year flipped in the southern hemisphere?
Our seasons are opposite to those of Britain and Europe, where much of the lore was written down. So most southern witches turn the Wheel by about six months, and each sabbat lands in the season it was meant to celebrate.
What is inside the Wheel of the Year Grimoire?
All eight southern sabbats in one workbook, with lore, correspondences, altar ideas, two rituals each, recipes and crafts, journal and working record pages, a simple moon practice and exact solstice and equinox times for 2026 and 2027.
